Hi All,
Have any drivers had their basic backpay yet? I’m due mine shortly and I was curious to see if Aslefs calculations were correct? Or did it differ?
Thanks
The good faith would be gone if no offer is received today. I’m not sure why more time would be needed. Junior doctors received an offer 2/3 weeks of labour coming into power, this shows it can be done if willing to.
They’ve had multiple meetings now over the space of 3/4 weeks.
I’m not happy...
If no offer is forthcoming today then they will need to announce further days immediately. It makes a mockery of us as they said an offer would be received today.
Views on the below:
National dispute update: We met with representatives from the DfT this morning. We have now adjourned and hope to reconvene in due course.
I was expecting a text to say an offer had been made etc.
Where does this leave us now if no offer is made?
Hi Guys,
Do you know if GWR would allow you to take on a part time job elsewhere during your training course?
If I joined as a trainee train driver I’d take a salary drop of around £25K.
Surely I’m not the first person to consider this?
Any response would be much appreciated!
