I emailed HR and was told within a week.

Congratulations on both accounts. I had this too. I was offered a start date pretty much on my sons due date. I explained to HR and they were really good about it. Offered me a start date one month later. So my boy was born April 13 and I start May 10.

I didn't but can't imagine they'd have an issue with that. But I don't think they'd be happy if you they ask you what you know about the role of a driver or what you know about the company and you read it off a piece of paper.

Just a thought. But I was always under the impression checking tests/bourdon tests etc when given to potential train drivers was to see how you react under stress. It's not designed for you to get 100% scores. It's not about matching all the letter/numbers. It's more about not being rushed into...
