I didn't say they were the rules! But that's what seems to happen. I suspect that if your base was to be Basingstoke ROC it may be different.
I've sent you a PM
Didn't you get contract stuff when they sent you conditional acceptance? That's all you get I think. As I understand it they expect everyone to stay in a hotel anyway. I know someone who lived 25 minutes from York and he had a hotel.
It's an extreme 'tube line in West London' that goes out to Reading all stations every few minutes. Yes it's easier to compartmentalise it like that on paper, but provides no redundancy for the GWML which would effectively be 2 track only from Reading to Paddington. That has huge implications...
You follow people's advice about reevaluating what you have submitted and make it better.
This is still about behaviours though - if a problem occurs in a safety critical environment (any - not just signalling) the last thing you want anyone to do is be defensive to protect themselves rather...
I hope that are able to get some feedback. However I would be careful to speculate that HR are not applying the same criteria to everyone. Modern HR in large companies is all about being fair, which is precisely why a candidate can be short listed for one opportunity, and miss out on another...

I'm older and didn't have computers at school. However I've embraced technology and that keeps me relevant to the modern world.
If I think back to what our local newsagent's shop was called by most people when I was a kid it makes me shudder now. Does anyone really think we...
I obviously missed that then. Even at the interview the only one wearing a tie was the overdressed me! Cant imagine slippers in a ROC!
Anyway, what is the point in wearing a tie? Personally even in a customer facing role I don't want to see someone wearing a tie. I want them to listen and be...
Its more than possible to change careers later in life - much more so than the media would have you believe. Indeed as technology changes many accountants will become automated too, so changing careers 3 times in one's life might well become the norm. I'm over 50 and and going to become a...
Can someone tell us what work is being undertaken in this closure period on this section? There was something on the news which implied a new flyover was being commissioned, but wasn't clear about where that was exactly. I've had a search about but haven't been able find anything.
Yes - after I had all sorts of trouble and spoke to HR its something they know about. Make sure you copy the answers to the questions into a word processor, so that when you try again you cab beat the time out. This is probably easier on a PC.
