Hi,
I've seen references to intermodal trains going to Rotherham Masborough, but I can't seem to find this location . Google Earth offers no clue, nor do any rail publications that I can find.
Would some kind soul put me out of my misery and pinpoint this for me please?
Many thanks,
Moony
Hi All,
Approaching Wichnor Junction on the South Staffs, there is a string of tall lamp standards [highway style] adjacent to the single line, which seems out of keeping with the low level lighting usually installed at junctions in recent years. Has anyone any info on these please?
Many...
I recently watched a video which depicted a Tesco/Russell freightliner en route from "Blackfoot Siding" to Coatbridge. All I know is the Blackfoot Siding is somewhere north of Stirling, where the video was shot.
Could somebody advise me of the location please?
Many Thanks,
Moony
There Is another intriguing one at Carstairs - there is a long stretch of straight line after you leave the south to east curve towards Edinburgh which was 30MPH before the recent upgrade [now 50MPH]. Can anyone throw some light on this one please?
Hi,
I have recently seen a Cab Ride video on Youtube which featured an aggregates train from Tunstead to "Barham FL" - as titled by the author. Try as I might I cannot find any reference to "Barham FL" anywhere. I did email the author to ask where this is but to date have not received a reply...
Many thanks Robski_.
If you look at the List of abbreviations in the relevant WTT sections there are other errors - amongst these I found a reference to a class 390 Pendolino still being 8 coaches!

Hi, I have been examining the current EWTTs for the WCML, not having looked at them for some time, and I note that CB02 and CB05 appear to not promulgate Euston arrival times. Indeed, there is no "Arr" line of entry for Euston.
Also, I have noticed a capital "T" interposed in en-route station...
Apologies if this has been raised before. At the departure end of each Elizabeth Line station there is a TVM BMB but immediately in advance of it it there is another BMB annotated as "CA" which I presume to mean Co- actor.
Could some kind person explain the significance of this arrangement...
Presumably not, as it was spotted from a cabride at speed. It was not a differential board either.
Sorry - It was a few days ago and I cannot locate the source.
Hi,
I have noticed on a video a "new" trackside sign. It comprises a black "S" on a square yellow background in the same style as Temp Speed Restriction signs.
Can anyone enlighten me please?
Many thanks,
Moony
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
