Yes, that may be the case. However even public tickets (i.e no discount) aren't bookable as the service isn't showing up on any journey planner. It's really strange despite all other services being bookable even with Privs.

The one question I've got regarding the service in the final years was there ever a service on Sundays? I can't find any reference to such services, and the fact the remaining stations were de-staffed gives me that impression there wasn't one.

From looking at RTT, there's an extra return peak time Southern service to Hemel Hempstead. 18:10 service from East Croydon - 19:38 off Hemel. Oh I wish that service could be extended to Milton Keynes again, I can even remember the time it used to be a Watford Junction - Brighton service!

I used the GWR service yesterday from Great Malvern all the way to Brighton. Lightly loaded from Great Malvern as far as Gloucester then it got fairly busy all the way to Brighton. Not the most comfortable experience on a 166 all that way but it's manageable in the former 1st class seating area...

Whenever I use the Wimbledon Loop, it has always been on a 319 and no other stock e.g 377s. Why do Thameslink allocate the 319s on the commuter and Wimbledon Loop services rather than using 377s,387s? I know eventually the 700s will take over.
