Bridgend gets so many delay apologies that Ruth and Glyn often interrupt themselves to announce arrivals, making it seem like they're apologizing for train that's just pulled into the station. :lol:

I don't really know a lot about the area (I live on the other side of Wales). I believe Porthmadoc was the "old Welsh" name used through to the 60's. The Ffestiniog's Porthmadog Harbour Station used to be known as "Portmagoc (old)" for a while. Having a look on Wiki will tell you more.
