Basically I'm just worried about a failure to purchase form I recieved.
If ITAL say the following: 'I can confirm the case has been paid and has now been complete'
Can I rely on this?
Would they know if although I've paid the amount, I was on a court list?

Just a question for anyone willing to answer:
Say one was to be prosecuted under railway byelaws, would this affect getting into certain countries such as the USA & AUS?
Just wondering as I've seen some say on here that it's non recordable
I've had a letter off northern rail explaining there failure to pay scheme.
This is part of the response:
'Consequently your actions placed you in a very serious and unlawful position. This particular offence is subject to prosecution under *railway byelaws. In accordance with data protection...
Thanks a lot I appreciate your help and will remember it for the future
Just to add, I wasn't so stupid to post on here as ollieb suggests.
I have been travelling this route on a Friday since starting uni in september(14 journeys)
And have been charged the £6.80(which went upto 6.95), meaning...
Yes 16-25
I have been charged £6.95 for this journey previously, on multiple occasions.-and when buying, the person at the office has asked me specifically what time I'm returning, and when I've said between 4-6, this is where he's upped it to 6.95.
Evidently yes, slightly confusing though with the two different prices that you get charged.
One week they charge you 6.95, the next £6.25.
But hey-ho, you know better than me:)
Hi, there are two events that have occurred today which I would love feedback on
Firstly: I got a lift to Warrington central station, where I went to the ticket office to buy a return ticket from sankey to manchester oxford road (as sankey was the station I am returning to. I purchased my ticket...
My local the ticket office at my local station sankey shuts at 16:00 weekly, and there are no ticket machines. So just to be clear, if boarding after the time of closure, it is perfectly acceptable to either purchase on the train or pay at my destination-thanks
The fare of 2.40£ has come up and I've paid it. So I presume this will be the end of the matter.
Thanks for all the help and responses, now I'm clear on northern rails policy, I certainly will never board a train again without a ticket whether people buy them on the train or not.
Thanks a lot
L
Yeah, ive phoned them the last three days in a row and they've just said it takes 7-10 days to go through. Something tells me northern may write to me instead and intend to prosecute
I'm just waiting for the form to go through on ircas but it has not yet which is worrying me.
I genuinely thought I was innocent until I came on this site, which is quite embarrassing from my part. Therefore I will be paying it at the very first opportunity
I'm fully willing to pay the fine, it was nearly 9 day ago and the reference number still hasn't gone through to ircas. Just worried that northern may be planning another form of prosecution.
This is my first dealing with northern so worried as to what the outcome will be
