East Coastway - May 2018 Timetable

For me, the biggest problem with these changes is the loss of the 07:12 Eastbourne to London Bridge service. There were only three direct trains a day, now down to two :-(

Great Northern and Thameslink May 18 service changes

In the consultation it showed that train being removed. It appears it has actually gone, but until the journey planner is updated, I'm not sure how official that is. You're right as per the timetables on RTT. Maybe there is an update coming?

Great Northern and Thameslink May 18 service changes

Sadly not, it is the 0712 from Eastbourne to London Bridge, the last of the three direct trains. Apparently there will be many more direct trains from Brighton to London Bridge, which is great, but as I don't live there it isn't so helpful to me. So, I have the choice of changing trains...

Great Northern and Thameslink May 18 service changes

Thanks, I can see it now. Sadly, and as I had feared, my morning train is no more. Time to stop commuting to London, I think.

I can't see it, where are you looking?

Best season ticket covering East Croydon and London Bridge

All, I know the obvious ticket is the £1,660 Croydon Stations to London Terminals, but is there a better valid option? I can see some that might be cheaper, but have dubious validity, despite being advertised via the journey planner. I don't want to save a few quid at the cost of having...

Valid Routes between London Bridge and London Victoria

I can see your point absolutely - I was very surprised to see this route pop out, given the limited knowledge I have gained from consulting the CoC and ATOC Routeing guide. But I don't have such an issue with the technicality. It is a ticket that is advertised for sale from National Rail -...

Valid Routes between London Bridge and London Victoria

Ok, I've been playing around with the National Rail Journey Planner for this route, and it comes up with a surprisingly large number of options, all for the Anytime Day Single price of £3.20 One curious example is the following: 00:12 London Bridge [LBG]-> East Croydon [ECR] arriving at...

Valid Routes between London Bridge and London Victoria

Thanks, much appreciated. Does the Journey Planner know these rules? Also, does the three miles longer apply to the shortest route, or the through train? NTN

Valid Routes between London Bridge and London Victoria

I just want to know what valid routes using that ticket would be. In case I want to travel to or via any of the intermediate stations. The national rail journey planner suggests a number of different routes, and I'm presuming they are all valid, but I can't see how one could derive it from the...

Valid Routes between London Bridge and London Victoria

Hi, I'm looking to get a season ticket between London Bridge and London Victoria, and can't see what the valid routes are as they are part of the same group. I've tried via the National Rail Journey planner and it comes up with a number of different routes for an anytime day single - would...
