Press them to get the voucher refunded. My cancelled Jacobite trip at the start of April was paid for by means of a voucher. I told them i wasn't willing to accept credit as I had zero interest in using any of their other services and the only acceptable resolution would be a full refund. I had...
The paths only go as far a Barassie Jn then back up the branch to Barclays, RTT doesn't show any other intermediate timing points because there are none. One of the sets is currently sitting half outside Caledonia works in unbranded Scotrail blue.
I called WCRC this morning as I am booked on the Jacobite on the 2nd April and I was wanting to know my options to be told that my trip has not been cancelled yet (only the 1st 3 trips have been canned according to the lady I spoke to) therefor might run however they would be in contact a week...
"Two male youths, aged 17 and 13, have been arrested and charged in connection with fire-raising following station hotel fire". A 17 year old was charged with arson for the earlier fire, wonder if it's the same youth?
Gents, thanks for the replies - I've had another look at a couple of weeks ago (16th) when it went east coast albeit from Kings Cross (couldn't find it earlier as I forgot it used a different headcode - 1S72) It only stopped at Carstairs for 4 mins (54 early arriving - 74 early leaving) and got...
I wonder if anyone can help me. My brother/sister in law are booked on the sleeper on Friday night and I am picking them up from Central on Saturday morning, I've looked at the schedule and seen it is booked to go ECML and split at Edinburgh rather than Carstairs. However it's still booked to...
Friend of a friend was at Killie and saw 276 passing through the station (according to his book of the face post anyway)

Brodies were not Hunslet Barclays. Wabtec have taken over the Barclays operation (aquired from Brush a number of years ago). Brodie Engineering built a purpose built depot across from the wabtec site in the former Network Rail Bonnyton sidings.

Brodies have been about for a few years now. They did the last major overhaul / refurbishment of the 334's for Scotrail. The have also recently done the rolling stock for 'The Grand Hibernian' in Ireland and completely rebuild 156478 after it went for a swim two years ago. 170204 is also on...
156478 is still at Brodies no nearer to being back on the mainline it would seem however it's playing it's own version of the hokey cokey, seems to be constantly in and out the shed. Hopefully wont be too much longer now. Here's a link to a pic i took yesterday while out for 'The Ayr Apparent'...
A friend and i had similar troubles at Glasgow Central Low Level last week. We were approached by a member of staff enquiring what we were up to, as soon as we said photography he ordered us to stop and out came the usual lines "illegal" "need permission from the manager" and lastly "the...
Lol, cheers for the heads up. I hadn't made it that far on RTT for this week. There is also 1Z64 southbound leaving Glasgow at 16:21
