Still live this morning as I've reapplied and just done the SJT. Here we go again!!

I did DM and HR interview in June 14 so as far as I know I only had a medical left to do.

Still can't quite believe this new process has started and all the old waiting applicants have been told thanks but no thanks. Really never saw that one coming.....

Because since I passed everything my circumstances might be very different to when I passed everything. Well how about you ask or check to see what's changed before coming out with some rubbish reason?? All that's changed is that I'm now 2 years older than when I applied. If the jobs are going...

Received mine 2 days ago. So apparently I can't be held in the talent pool any longer as my circumstances may be very different to when I applied etc. Well apart from being 2 1/2 years older they're not actually. Shocking way to be treated.

Trust me when I say that you won't be as disappointed as the people who were booted out of the same talent pool only last week.

Perhaps it's because I sent them an email asking if there was any news. Maybe it's prompted them to send something out????? I've not received the one you're on about though.

A prison official also tested positive after taking a test after an inmate was claiming a false positive, also from poppy seeds I seem to remember.

Been in GWR talent pool since July 2014. Not had any official contact for about 6 months now but always hearing whispers of activity. Not totally given up yet.

I can understand that but you could also say why advertise when people are still waiting? Would be nice to know how many others are in the same position as me.

I read elsewhere that GWR are advertising internally for trainee drivers which doesn't bode well for us still on hold. I also read that there were drivers sitting around doing nothing which again doesn't bode well and makes me wonder why they're advertising. It was described as being "in LTV...

Went over the bridge near Denchworth today (just west of the Wantage Road bridge) and one side of the down line has lots of support posts up. Later crossed the Baulking bridge and there is a large patch of ground which has beenow levelled off. Not sure what that's for, looks like a big square...
