No, leave Transpeak alone. The general travelling public aren't interested in it being a silent partner in Wellglade and probably consider it the express along that corridor..

The order for Skylink Derby is 16 E200MMC - for a pvr of 16. Either a couple of the existing fleet is staying or they've realised that electrics can help on the shorter rotas or be temporary fill-ins for a few hours.

Are you saying that you are also prepared to pay good prices for this better service? If you've spent a lot of time using the pretty cheap TfL buses you may well have a rather skewed view on bus fares.

I think the general view is that Yutongs are proving to be some of the best buses currently available, with over 2.000 now delivered. Most Operators, mechanics and drivers seem to be very happy with them.

Where on earth in London do they get anything like the demanding work of the North East, there's no real comparison. Personally, while far from perfect, I think Arriva do a fair job with their B9s over much of the country.
