Hi forum
Asking for a friend travelling to Gatwick from London Bridge with an over 60's Oyster (not a Freedom pass). Thameslink are saying she'd need to buy a ticket extension from Coulsdon South to Gatwick and any train she board's at London Bridge would have to call at Coulsdon South limiting...
Hi All
I wonder if you guys could help a friend of mine who is looking to travel this Christmas, specifically on South Western and Southeastern on the 27th December.
The Southeastern website does not yet have planned engineering works for that date (that I can see) does that mean there isn't...
Thanks for the replies, they're really helpful...I think the plan is to get on one train and stay on it. The pair of them will have luggage with them and it's just faff to do the out-in shuffle :-)
Hi All
I hope you can help me.
A friend of mine recently got his London 60+ card (colloquially known as the Boris card - not a Freedom Pass) and he is going to Gatwick with his partner.
I know that you cannot put PAYG on the 60+ and I am fairly sure he cannot use it to get all the way to...
Thanks both...
After I posted my question I realised that the bus was quicker and as it starts at Folkestone West then that's what I will do.
I don't have anything against replacement buses really, I guess I'm just 'conditioned' to avoid them where I can, but, as I'm travelling alone this...
Thanks for the tip district...do you know if the bus replacement starts at Folkestone Central or Folkestone West? I ask because there is an event at Dover Castle this weekend and I am expecting services to be busy...
The Southeastern website suggests its quicker to get the bus, so if it...
Hi all
I am having a bit of a battle with the Southeastern website (again)
I wish to go from Stratford to Dover return this weekend (Saturday) and I read somewhere that because of the bus replacement service I'd be better off going via Ramsgate but try as I might I cannot get the website...
Thanks for taking another look for me...the £23 discounted fare is the one my colleague is going to purchase as she needs flexibility in her journey...
I'm glad I'm not the only one find the new and improved Southeastern website a little confusing :-)
Thanks for the reply :-)
Sorry if I am being a bit dim but I am finding the new improved Southeastern website confusing.
I cannot find a £15.45 weekender ticket on the webbie for 2 passengers with a two together railcard. I am getting £23.00 (as attached) which is fine as that isn't too...
Hi All
I wonder if you guys can help?
A colleague is looking to go from London Bridge to Maidstone West this weekend going on the 30th April coming back on the 1st May and we are getting advance fares for £7.80 (2xpax and a Two Together railcard) each way.
We are a little confused as...
Sorry...it's one of those VISA Electron thingamejiggers. I have never been able to use it with AGA (when they were at Ilford) not even at the ticket window but I wonder if I can use it at Ilford now its TfL Rail as I can use it at the Travel Information Centre and have always been able to use it...
Thanks for that, I hadn't seen the page about what tickets you can buy and where...and I was under the impression (rightly or wrongly) that staff would be able to assist with something I'd normally have bought at a window...
I have my ticket now, I have just come back from the Liverpool St...
Morning all, I wonder if you guys could help clear something up for me? Not sure if I have posted in the right section
Today I wanted to renew my annual Z1-4 at Liverpool St Travel Information Centre located in the London Underground concourse at Liverpool St
(where I bought last years) to...
Thanks, I thought it would be valid...
I will use my travelcard to get from Liverpool St to Stratford. My open return ticket is from Stratford to Sittingbourne.
Thanks again
Hi all
I am probably overthinking this.
I use High Speed quite a lot as my Mum lives on Sheppey. I usually travel with my Daughter on a Friends & Family Railcard buying a nicely discounted off peak open return (going on a Friday evening, returning on a Sunday)
This evening, I am...
No, she uses LU to get to her partners - another reason she likes PAYG
That was my deduction too...but I felt that a 16-25 Railcard would be beneficial for her, despite not using trains for leisure travel.
I have given her all the information, now it's up to her :-)
Thanks all
Well, I'll be! I just went back to the season ticket calculator on the AGA website http://www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk/tickets-fares/season-tickets/season-ticket-calculatorbecause that's where I got my figures from and when you enter BXB to LST> show all options it lands on the BXB to Z1-6...
