Depends on department and route. I know a guy who's worked both.
Put it this way, if you are not going for a senior manager or a driver role GTR doesn't appear to be very fun right now. For anyone.
A little update: I have an interview Wednesday for the Three Bridges ROC, London Bridge still haven't gotten back to me yet.
If anyone has any further information on what did or did not work for them it would be appreciated!

A belated congratulations! Thank you for all your input - hopefully I'll be sharing the same sort of post with you all!
As an update: i sat my interview about three weeks ago, I've heard nothing back yet.
Still waiting for my other applications to land on the hiring managers desk. I'm a...
I've been offered an interview for the London Bridge temp positions!
However I'd rather get one of the Three Bridges ROC jobs I'm in for but these are further behind in the process.
What would happen if I accepted a position at London Bridge and started school and then accepted either...
I emailed HR asking if I could have them copy my application from one box to another and they gave me advice on if I would need to change the questions or not. I would assume the LOM interviewing you to want to see you dedicated to their boxes though.
I know that the railway is slow time but it is still frustrating :P
So I could be sitting in a list now of people who will be interviewed and not know? That's promising! Thanks for your help so far :)
I am not a signaller nor do I work for Network Rail so take that information as totally uninformed but I'm relying on a long process plus working my notice period with my current employer to be able to start a my desired job mid June!
I believe they'll give you a minimum of any current notice period for a previous employer.
It will depend on how many people are on a course, when the next course is etc.
If you've applied for a box with one position and another four boxes with two positions are only a few weeks behind...
I have a quick question for you and I'm sorry if it seems like I am taking advantage of your rejection.
Did you ever get the email where you were being assessed by a hiring manager and did your online status ever change to "under consideration for assessment 2?"
Don't give up. I'd email...
I felt awful and did not expect to pass the bench mark.
I did pass the bench mark and have also applied for London Bridge. Martin.g found out his news and im still waiting so it could be positive or it could be the order they're going through things.
In truth it is very difficult to know...
Very similar to the position I hope to be in. Applied for one role FTC which closed on 1/1/17 and just applied for another role which closes 1/3/17 and although a lower grade the second position isn't temp and is in the location I want too.
I was advised to take the first job if offered then...
It could be that your CV/Application didn't hit enough of the key words and phrases that might be used to bench mark. It could be you gave really excellent details of experiences that didn't answer the right question. It could be a number of things. I'd drop HR an email and ask for some...
