The determining factor is whether the concessionary schemes apply to the route, so the 500 should be part of the £2 fare cap.

You are correct, it wouldn’t be. The £2 fare cap will only apply to journeys wholly within the SPT area. On cross boundary services the cap will apply to the boundary stop and the regular fare beyond - same as happens in the original HiTrans area.

Yes, the 5 buses required to maintain the main daytime Monday to Saturday timetable is split 3 Balfron and 2 Bannockburn. That will become 5 Balfron form 31st August. Larbert will provide the 2 buses for the Sunday timetable, as Balfron is closed on a Sunday.
