Anyone hear about the terms that virgin are asking for in their £67k driver pay proposal? I hear its a no goer but what are they asking for?

Has anyone got a copy of some paperwork or job advert for LM stating the maximum commute distance/ time they are prepared to accept for a new entrant trainee driver? I've seen other TOCs publish one hour travel time but I can't find it anywhere in writing from London midland Anyone?

I've still heard nothing either way although im not optimistic. Anyone else?

The toc's I'm thinking about are Virgin and London midland. I've heard of something called SMART pension but it means nowt to me... Anyone?

Only me Is the pension deduction the same rate for drivers for all TOC's or are they company dependant? What is the deduction percentage, anyone know? Are there tiers or is it a standard rate? Ta very much :lol:

Sorry, should have been more specific- a trainee driver role - toc's usually publish a maximum distance/ commute time that they are prepared to accept for a new starter but I can't remember what LM's was

One more thing ( getting my money's worth today) Anyone know LM's rules for max distance home to workplace? Is it one hour commute/ 30 miles radius or something else? Ta very much

If it helps I marked my paper based gbt on the day with a tiny pencil mark 10 lines down. After each 2 minutes i had hit 10 lines down. I don't know my score, obviously, but I passed and I am no speed merchant. As TDK says, don't become obsessed with speed...:wink:
