I've found Cross Country to be terribly inconsistent. Sometimes I've been offered the lot (hot main meal, dessert/snacks, cold and hot drinks) and other times I've had nothing and the 'host' was nowhere to be seen!

What I've noticed about a lot of these is the complete lack of a revamp to the stores by the new tenant/owner. Some of them literally look like they've just swapped the signs over!

Yeah I never understand why some towns 'need' a second branch of a shop. Hanley (Stoke on Trent) now has 2 branches of Poundland yet neither has ever been all that hectic!
