Pardon me for posing a newbie question on a topic well known to forum old timers, but what is the minimum curve radius on section 1 of High Speed? From Googling, I know it's 4000m on the 270 km/h part of section 2, but presumably it's greater on section 1 as it runs at 300 km/h?

Will the Velaro e320s be able to travel at their designed service speed of 320 km/h on High Speed 1, or are the curves too tight, too much slower traffic, etc, so that they'll be limited to 300 km/h on our side of the Channel?

The Eurostar Velaro e320s will have capacity for 894-950 passengers spread through 16 cars.
