Apologies if this is the wrong thread. Unsure if this is accurate or not, but have read on Facebook on an article about EWR that the introduction of these MK5s will...

Anyone know if the route will be absorbed into the network railcard area? Given that both Oxford and Bletchley/MK are in it, it would seem rather daft if not.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe one of the 3 Euston to Bham services per hour always did continue to Scotland pre COVID I think? Only ask as trying to recall how the timetable worked!
About the 3 tph reinstatement, was that likely to be the December timetable change do you know or later?
Apologies if this question has been covered in the thread already but I understand that some 807s will be used on Euston to Bham?
Any particular reason for this? And where will the subsequently displaced pendolinos go?
Can't imagine going round the bends at Weedon bolt upright.
Morning all
Anyone know if Avanti's new sets are going to be displacing any pendolino diagrams (if so where are those pendolinos going) or are they solely going to be running routes that the voyagers do/did with partial non electrified sections?
Thanks!
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere in these 40 pages, but was the commencement of revenue service looking to be Spring 2024? I've seen a variety of dates mentioned across different sources.
Looking forward to using it as it will be a really useful link from near MK where I live, back...
Hi,
In hindsight, perhaps opposite was not the correct word to have used. To keep it as simple as possible:
I understood the post made by Mag_seven to mean that all workings timed for a 390 or a Voyager are also allocated/diagrammed as such.
Whereas in your post, I did not get the impression...
I have always thought the same. Just out of interest (not at all doubting you), how do know this to be the case, because your answer is the exact opposite to what yorkie has said?
Thanks.
Thanks for your detailed answer. There has been some mention on here previously of a Virgin-Trains Yahoo Group having a list of the diagrams for 390s and 221s. But I cannot find a group with such a name when I search for it on the Yahoo Groups website.
Hi,
I am looking at a Chiltern working on RTT and it is 'pathed as class 158'. I am fully aware that this is for timings only and is not necessarily the type of stock allocated to the working. In this case it most certainly will not be as Chiltern have no 158s.
However, Virgin workings between...
Hello :)
I've heard from my Dad that LM have a couple of vacancies coming up in my local area. He was told by a friend he has who works for the company. One was for a ticket office, the other for a platform assistant. I have a few questions regarding both roles and the relevant selection...
Do you not think that is brilliant value though? The combined cost of all the travel you could achieve on that ticket in one day (adding up the cost of a single/return fare for a journey you could make covered by the travelcard) must be pretty massive!
Thanks, obviously I would confirm the NR validity business at the ticket office if I was to purchase one. Are you "well travelled" enough on the tube to be able to suggest me a good line to travel on? I would ideally not like to be pressed into someone's chest jammed against a window, if at all...
