It will be a "return" to Bristol for some drivers, who will have signed the route before when some FGW/GWR services were driven by drivers "leased" from TfW.

I think the most random/stupid "change here" is annouced on trains arriving at Reading from Paddington which advise to change for the Railair to Heathrow.
As a member of train crew I can't help but have done some thought into some of the cabs we sit in since yesterday's events, especially on older traction.
Apologies if this has been asked before, but why do so many First bus drivers in Bristol not wear uniform? Is it due to a shortage of stock, or other reasons? Not uncommon to see bus drivers in full civvies including tracksuits etc and it looks a bit unprofessional.
This isn't a post for opening up an argument for or against private companies operating LO - but what exactly does FG (or any other transport company) bring to the party? Why cannot it be operated as its own entity owned by TfL like the tube?
