It's the condensate stripped out of the air as it's cooled. Same reason you get a puddle under your car if you use the air con.

Maybe it's all down to how you sleep. I have a friend who can go to bed at eight and wake up at six. I can't. I seem to only get 3 hours at the most

Can I ask in all seriousness how many deaths have occurred over the life of the seawall path? I've tried googling it but nothing but the latest events.

Wasn't there a public consultation about such things as couchettes and it was rejected. People on here are a very small minority of those that use the service so maybe their views are not recorded.
