    not sure if I can make during the week now, but we will definitely go for a drink on the friday after work in our first week, then at least we should all be together. on another point, does anybody know if employees get parking permits for stations? Someone I know works in the ticket office...

    yes you can, if you have 100 drivers at reading, 75% of that would be about 75 drivers, and you have 100 drivers at Padd, 50% needed then that would be 50 drivers. Meaning they will need 125 drivers to work crossrail. Anyway can't remember where i read this info so it may just be in my head...

    Someone said (not sure where I read it) that 75% of cross rail drivers will be from the Reading depot, 50% from Paddington. Hence why they are recruiting so much recently.
