With just over 4 weeks to the 40th year of operating services 318250 returned to service after 16 days at Shields Depot getting a C4 overhaul
First service back this morning was 0617 Dalmuir to Larkhall with 318268, which had a new pantograph by the looks of things
If it runs, I would expect it probably to be 320420, however I would have thought it is a wee bit early for it based on 320411-320417 length at Wolverton
Has the invitation to tender gone out yet? I thought this was next yr if not later?
As to the 320/3 they will definitely need another overhaul/refurb as TBOx was done 2019-2021, so they must be due next year I would have thought… the 318 again if it going to be 2032 at least then I would think...

My thoughts were if Balloch to Springburn could run with 4 coaches, but operating non stop after Hyndland to Dalmuir then this service could operate 7 days a week.
Milngavie services could go to Larkhall.
Dalmuir then operates...
Just wondering if anyone could answer the following
Balloch services to and from Airdrie.
If services were to operate Balloch to Springburn and vice versus, would a 3 or 4 car cope with loadings, vice a 6 car?

Would removing Anniesland to Singer stops mean a 3 or 4 car unit could...

How is the corrosion been on the 458s when they have gone for relivery?
I know the 334s in Scotland are bad in places but I dont know if this was because they operated Ayrshire coast services years ago but also they go past the Clyde on the way to Helensburgh
