Hey,
I've just started an apprenticeship with NR and because we can't really get into the depot at the moment we've been sent some project work outside of the apprenticeship work whilst we're working from home. I've done a bit of research but there's a few things I don't have the answers to...
I've spoken to numerous people who have always said that maintenance/tech jobs are ridiculous money for a easy job.

Hi all,
I've just been looking at my paperwork and notice that my apprenticeship contract is with NR to go onto a depot on the HS1.

Thanks
Is anyone able answer this?

Thanks
I've read most of the hands on work is done at night however I'm curious as to what is done in the day other than patrols.
Does anyone also know how far they would travel from their depots for work, whether it be patrol or maintenance?
Any other comments about the role would be great.
My NR...
Hi,
I've tried a couple of times to get on their apprenticeship and finally have been offered something subject to medicals etc.
Originally I wanted to do track at a station 20 mins from home but have been offered a place doing overhead lines about an hours drive from home.
Any opinions on...
