Two questions please :-
1) When is ETCS in the Moorgate Tunnels due to go operational?
2) Does/could it enable bi-directional control if one of the lines was out of action?

Always happy to learn - last week's points failure at Moorgate caused me to wonder what emergency traction, presumably electric, is available to service/rescue issues that arise in the tunnel.
For instance how would you transport a new set of points there, had that been required and traction...
Does anyone know why this has happened on the last 3/4 times that Moorgate services have been rescheduled into London Kings Cross?
Yes I know it says 'Shortage of Drivers' but really, don't they like London Kings Cross for some reason or is there something else?
