Recently I’ve noticed that every platform canopy support on Worcester Shrub Hill station has been boxed in with white cladding. Does anyone know why? Photo attached.

Several times in the late 80’s I saw class 86’s working over the Hitchin to Cambridge section on diverted trains from the G.E. Does anyone have any photos of these workings over that line please?
