Hi
Wife and child (over 11) are visiting London tomorrow. I think I'm right in assuming my wife's new contact-less Debit card can be used by her on the tube, but can the same card be used for child as well? Or would they need an off-peak child travel card? They are zone 1-2 only.
Thanks. :D
Is First Class more hassle than it's worth and has it outlived it's usefulness in this egalitarian utopia that is modern-day Britain?
Should all First Class seats be converted to high-density Standard Class on all trains to provide more seats for everybody? Not just the pampered few, where...
I am on several web forums that have a like/dislike/thanks options for posts. I find it a very useful feature, as not only is it a quick way of thanking a poster for a useful or entertaining post, it also allows for a general opinion to be formed of posts, and prevents members who might have...

Mods' note: split from Greater Anglia staff lied to me?

I once had a guy come up to me on-board, he was drunk and had a face that looked like it had recently been tested by a clog-dancer. He approaches...
Following on from an incident tonight where an assault on train-crew took place on a train, but the majority of witnesses refused to give details to enable BTP to pursue statements, I'm curious as to how many members on here would not want to get involved if asked to give contact details for...
Can a group-save discount be applied to zone 1-2 travelcards? Specifically a group of six adults and three eligible children.
I know it applies to travelcards with a train journey (unless barred dates etc), but I'm not sure about tube only.
Thanks :D
Hi Guys
The challenge is a group of 5 adults and 14 children, 11 children are aged 10 or below, three are aged 11, traveling up to Trooping the Colour from Bridgend on Sat 8th. They need train travel to and fro on the same day and tubes around centre of London.
Without starting into split...
Anybody with an interest in good music, there is a Fairport Convention night on BBC 4 TV tonight, including a documentary about the God of guitar players, Richard Thompson
Hi Guys
I don't have access to the restrictions, what is the cheapest way to get from Bridgend to London Monday morning, via Salisbury, that will allow a break of journey in Salisbury (not overnight)? No railcards.
Best I can find is the SSS, £42, or before 10, the Anytime for £48.10...
Anybody else know this pest? Well known on FGW, I see he has been caught - again

It's that time of the year again, and my mobile contract is up for renewal. A few questions for the forum members, as there always seems to be someone out there who knows.
