Newport area on Thursday

Hi guys. Been out of the loop for the last 12 Years! but before that was a very keen spotter. Looking at going to the Newport area on Thursday particulary near Bishton to take some photos. Can anyone please tell me what the freight levels are like these Days please and does any trains...
