Started my September collection with photos of Royal Scot 46115 on the charter to Chester, seen at Helsby in the sun, and at Frodsham Viaduct on the return. Also the Northern Belle, with 67027 and 67003, seen at the same locations. Popped over Hooton way to get some 507s and 508s, as I don't...

I wasn't able to phot the outward, so had to get the return. It was getting dark though! 33207 and 37248 have a rest, before working the ECS back to Carnforth A quick dash to the road bridge to get the pair leaving on 5Z33

D1062 'Western Courier' is expected to be running the diesel diagram on the Severn Valley Railway this Saturday, after a long extensive overhaul, and repaint into Maroon with small yellow warning panels. Hopefully should be a faultless day for all concerned, I'll be out to photograph it :)...

Started off August with a trip to Water Orton, to see 47787 and 851 on the Skeggy ECS, and the various AXC HSTs. Also went to Kingsbury for 60040 on the tanks, seen arriving and reversing into the terminal. Finished the day off with 66193 on UK Railtours' return "The Heart of Wales Line"...
