There was another one on the other line with arrows facing the other way so the arrows mean direction of trains but the rest I have no idea or ever seen before.
I really don't understand why they need to be there, and I definitely don't understand why some are still there several months later.
Sticking a SPATE notice in the late notice case would be a more than adequate way of letting drivers know that the TSR has been lifted. Just seems like an all...

Absolutely not.
That train is several coaches long. The rails and the wheels would have to be entirely made of black ice for that train to be unable to stop.
Trains were pulling in and...
As the title says. I am a trainee driver and I have been tasked with getting an electronic copy of the WON, but I haven't been able to locate one. I wasn't told how to get one, I was just told to get one. Can anyone advise?
Thank you.
Hi,
Can anyone who's passed an ICA please explain the whole process of it a little bit better to me? As in how strict are they with things that you might not know? For example, earlier I was testing myself on TW5 and couldn't for the life of me recall what the speed limit would be for moving a...

Hi,
After being in a 'talent pool' for over 2 years, I finally start my driver journey in early March. Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what order I will learn things, and exactly what I will be learning? I'd like to try and hit the ground running if I can by doing as much...
Hi,

Also I'm guessing steam trains are not fitted with AWS or TPWS? I thought that was...
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum who gives advice and help with all stages of the driver recruitment process. I've just been told I've passed the final stage (MMI) and pending medical I have the job!
Honestly, this forum has been invaluable. Thank you.
Hi,
I have my DMI at the end of the month and I already work for the TOC I'm applying to be a driver for. Does anyone know if my DMI will be structured any differently? I assume I won't be asked what I know about the company and why I want to work for them etc..
I can't really find any...
