This link Is what I am thinking of buying because I accidently smashed my screen on my Nokia Lumia 520.
This is the first time I have smashed any screen before. The phone still works perfectly, just cant see the screen!!!
Question: Would this 'cure' my smashed screen? I mean, could I take...
From an enthusiasts point of view, (following on from Blackpool North thread,) what do you want from a station?
E.g. where are ticket barriers, staff, shops, queuing systems etc.
Just curious really...
:DHerro
Nottingham - Grantham - Kings Cross is almost always cheaper (£4-£5 cheaper) than Nottingham - St Pancras direct. (NRE results)
2 questions
1) Can you reserve Nottingham-Grantham in August. I know you normally cant but this being Skegness on a summer Saturday, wondered if you...
By signing this petition you will help to reopen the line between Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton.
There have been a few news stories on it recently:

Thanks, just found the petition! :D
BBC NEWS:
I think sometimes bus drivers need to use discression but the teenager should've used more sense than to try and get out. You do wonder what his reasons were.
Well...which one do you say?!
Personally:
Coaches: For me this is what I would use to non-railway enthusiasts and others e.g. the train were going on is 6 coaches long.
Carriages: I don't use this. For me this reminds me of heritage railway operations!
Cars: In my eyes this is the...
the POLL QUESTION SHOULD BE: WHAT NEWSPAPER DO YOU READ?
There is a poll and feel free to discuss why below.
Thought this would be a bit of fun?
NOTE: All newspapers listed are in national circulation EVERY DAY, hence there being no other option.
Hi all,
First, does anyone know of any accommodation in any of these places? I am happy to take a bus/train to accommodation but not far as we want to walk from the place the next day. We need a twin room.
Bigbury (Nr Plymouth)
Avening (Possibly a bus 29 to Clothier Arms B+B)
Rencomb...
Still think this place desperately needs one. Tourist crowds are growing every summer and the crowds cant cope.
Question for debate to you guys...
Is it likely for Peak Rail to extend in the near future?

On trains now, you press a button and the doors sometimes open and then they squash you or trap you between the 2 sets of doors, well they had the manual doors of course on older trains.
My mind may be deceiving me, but don't some current Northern Stock still have inter carriage doors with a...
My friend wanted to get a job in the rail industry. Northern and EMT are their (and my!) local operators. If they wanted a job looking after car parks for Northern Rail, or doing the trolley on EMT, where would they go?
And a question on my behalf: Who patrols Northerns car parks?
Attached are 4 photos, (apologies for quality.)
An extremely bitter morning at Long Eaton with great value all day parking at £2. Brought tickets to Leicester with: 1 adult+2 children £11.60 return and 2 adults with senior railcards at around £9 return. Brisk walking pass the confusing...
OK...
Majority of people really don't like Northern Rail...Why?
What are your problems with NR? If you owned that company what would you do?
I'll start off:
#1: Clean the train during turn-around instead of sitting on your bum next to it chatting to your colleges!
OK...
I have subscribed to around 5 routes (free from the market stall.) One is FGW mainline 166, both of which are default on the system when I brought it. I go onto where all workshop driving scenarios are listed and it loads with its picture slideshow then comes up with error: failed to...
My idea ()
-Broadmarsh ground floor could easily fit another 4 bays in to get 21.
-Car park above could be closed for another 20 bays.
-Collin Street could be re built and connected with the huge building here with a further 10 bays.
-3 bays at the front of the station.
around 55...
