It looks like LU are recruiting Train Operators (drivers) externally for the first time in several years. These are part time roles for night tube, whenever that might commence.

Some members may be interested to know that a 6 car train of D Stock was transferred from Ealing Common to Neasden Depot today, via Rayners Lane. It will receive attention from the wheel lathe before being returned to its home territory, presumably towards the end of this week.

A small collection from today's (very successful) Fishguard meet. We had a fantastic turnout and I'm fairly sure everyone had a good time! I expect there'll be some more photos to follow soon from everyone else who attended!
Sadly today's 87-hauled Birmingham run was caped at Bletchley due to a smashed windscreen. The loco suffered the breakage in the Leighton Buzzard area and proceeded as far as Bletchley at caution, where the service was caped.

joy54 & Ascot joined me for a trip down to the West Somerset today to have one last ride on their 117 before it goes off the railway (back into the hands of the army).
