    Nuclear Power in the UK

    Mod Note: Please note posts #1 - #8 originally in this thread. Actually nuclear runs flat out all the time at 6.9GW, it's the only way it works. If you watch the grid then quite often coal does shut down at night but gas keeps going.

    Newcastle to Redhill via underground?

    Greetings All, Excuse my ignorance but I have tickets from Newcastle to Redhill but this obviously means a trip on the tube Northern line to get to London Bridge. My novice question is...do the tickets I have also give me access to the tube or will I have to buy the fare when I get there...
