Lots of delays and cancellations on the Northumberland line today due to snow affecting the Mk2 OD level crossings. Trains being talked past signals at danger.
From my casual observation of the Northumberland Line since opening this does seem to happen quite often during snow or heavy rain...

Been told by someone who works at Lynemouth power station that their licence for burning coal has expired so there will be no more coal trains to the power station (and this has been the case for about six months). They have to burn their stockpile then the power station will close for 2 years...
