So, it's Friday night. I've been in Glasgow with some friends, and we get a train from Central to Partick, then get on the 2F27 15/06/2012 2153 Lanark [LNK] to Milngavie [MLN].
We pulled into Anniesland when the conductor came over to us and inspected all our tickets, gave us the all clear...

On a train yesterday, the 10:17 (I think) Milngavie - Motherwell, of the 3-car class 318, the last carriage, the doors wouldn't work, and the only light in the carriage was through the windows. The PIS display was working, but it was like the end carriage just had no power or something...

When you pass through a ticket gate at the end of your journey is the ticket cut up by the machine, carefully incinerated by it or just slung into a bag inside it?
