EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

So we are handing control over to Boris Johnson instead of the EU. Sounds like a great plan. Our cup shall overfloweth. Ha ha. It's like Liverpool selling Fernando Torres and using the money to buy Andy Carroll. Alright it's not really but you get my meaning. Ha ha. Maybe not.

EU Referendum: The result and aftermath...

The Tories only got 43.6% of the vote in the last general election. I guess, as you say about our trade with the EU, only a minority in the UK want a Tory government and yet hear we are. The EU makes a massive chunk of our trade and you are writing it of as a minority? Compared to where?

I was heading towards platform 2 at South Parkway last night when I noticed the PIS showing my Northern operated train to West Allerton was not just showing the stops to Lime Street but also a message saying "We were the most reliable UK train operator in 2019" . Ha ha. I thought it was a mickey...

    Football

I was walking to the game from Sandhills station to Anfield once and saw a bunch of lads hanging around chatting. At first I thought they were recently arrived central European migrants. As I got closer I realised they were fellow Scousers. Curtis Jones accent is nothing. Ha ha.

Yeah. I have a soft spot for Leicester. My youngest brother lives there (Although we are from Livetpool). They do look out of sorts. That said I was still surprised at the result.

    Northern Class 195: Construction/Introduction Updates

They aren't really. Some/many Liverpool to Manchester Airport services have gone from being pairs of 156's to one 195/0. Farce.

A Bombardier Global 6000 slid off either the runway or taxiway near to the terminal depending on what you read. Some flights diverted to Manchester but JLA has been shut all day. One of the directors who runs Fenway Sports Group who own Liverpool Football Club was the only passenger. No one...

    Beggars at railway stations

There you have it. I have a mate who thinks all homeless people are on Heroin, it's their own fault and he would happily have them shot. In all other aspects my mate is a lovely generous guy.

The 2010s: How would you define it?

What the 2010's represent to me. I'm working more hours for less money in one of the wealthiest countries in the world doing the same job. Yeah maybe it is down to me to improve that but everywhere I look is the same, more work for less money. Home ownership is out of the question despite having...
