Yes very congested. Add in the XX.07 stopper service to Walsall-Wolverhampton sometimes dosen't leave until after 10 past the hour and that starts the backlog. I have to go to Stoke once a month so I do like the new stopper does have 5 quid one way fares up to there so cheaper than CrossCountry.

Cirencester, 20k but nearest main station is Stroud and Kemble. Can even get a hourly bus to Cheltenham and Swindon although both take good 50 minutes.

Banbury-Basingstoke for I think 16 quid off peak return is very good value but yes agree they fleece many other parts of the line where they provide the only service. Shame if they do it.
