I got the dreaded email, that I failed the assessment. I got zero wrong in part 1, 4-6 wrong on part 2 and 5-6 wrong on part 3 of the VSE. I passed the M7SJT. I'm totally crushed. I believed l failed part 2 of the VSE. Does that mean I can take no assessments with another TOC, for 6 months, or...

It was manic, especially part 3. I did mine over 1 week ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. There appear to be a few people waiting for a reply from Crossrail, regarding how we did in the tests.

Congratulations. I applied to GA in mid-May and passed the SJT. I then received an email asking "If I had passed any previous stages" at the end of May. Since then nothing. I'm genuinely glad you've passed and on to stage 2.

Congratulations. Crossrail didn't even ask me to complete the VSE, which rang a few alarm bells. I'll brace myself for the "Thank you for submitting your application, but on this occasion you have been unsuccessful" letter.

It's about patience. I applied to Crossrail and completed the OPC-SJT, last Thursday and have not had a reply, despite others having been sent an email to complete the VSE.

There's a thread on it with plenty of accounts and information. The link sends you to OPC, where you have to give some personal details, then complete a SJT. Relatively straight forward, but have a read through. Always some useful information.

Wow! 16 months from application to job start is excessively long in my opinion. I've heard others talk about the time-frame in the rail industry, but it still takes some getting use to. I applied 7 weeks ago and I'm already suffering from fatigue, waiting for another email.
