Indeed Northbound at Crianlarich I agree that the single line between the points is part of the longer section past the second set of points. I also pointed out that southbound trains approach at the same time, so are the tokens issued to the drivers both to Crianlarich or is there another stop...

That is referring to admitting the second train into the platform. I was wondering about two trains, both with a token to Crianlarich approaching a converging set of points at the same time. Does the token section extend into the station or is there a stop point before the points. If so, does...

What about Criananlarich? See photo, one set of points for the split to either side of the platform and one for a main junction between the Oban and Fort William lines. Northbound trains split and then depart for separate destinations, no problem you can visually see when the points have been...

If I was nit picking I would point out that not all anagrams are accurate. e.g. Odd Nudist should be Odd Nudest (Duddeston) but it's funnier if I don't.

New Street is far from as dark as it used to be. Unfortunately I can't find a photo showing the unwelcoming "waiting rooms" that used to occupy the centre of all platforms, blocking views and light. The old Post Office ramps at the Wolverhampton end have also gone to give more room at that end...

Apologies if this has already been covered, I had a quick look through and couldn't see it. From December the Barnstaple line is due to be self-contained using 3 coach 158s. RTT shows this as running between Barnstaple and St. James' Park. I think St. James' Park up platform is only two coaches...

To me, the Chase line is between Walsall and Rugeley. Currently these trains are 350s (to fit into this marvellous timetable (!)), only the Walsall-Wolverhampton are 323s. (Possibly a few exceptions). Beat me to it VT390:-)

In effect then, swapping the xx.20 to xx.27 and vice versa. Wonder if that means the odd 323 on the Chase line?
