Has any Qualified Guys and Gals been given a definitive start date yet or had any more correspondence since the generic email sent at the start of the month? It seems that their lack of communication is extending to the Trainees as well!

Would not worry about it Qualified successful candidates have been told the next 2 courses for us is October and November! Madness as we can be productive in 4-6 months as opposed to over a year! But I imagine 6 month notice periods may be one of the reasons

Each TOC is different but it will be around the 3 years mark after you become productive that you can out your name down for a move and depend on bacancies at your chosen depot you could move immediatley or have to wait years

34 days IIRC Rest day flat rate although they have just agreed a book on allowace for RDW slthough I can't remrmber amount

Does anyone know the Salary Scale for VTEC Drivers if you join as a Qualified? Is it on to Full whack straight away or is it staged like XC and VTWC? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, I put in for Newcastle. I have went from a high of being offered a position pending medical and had my medical mid January and apart from email from well being advisor saying it was all ok nothing since which is disconcerting and frustrating at the same time!
