I’m no expert on these sorts of things, but I’m guessing the expense involved in terms of hiring loco’s, coaches, training etc, would surely far outweigh the benefits to the passengers? Ben

For anyone interested, 37884 is stabled in front of the 710 at Gatwick Sidings. I drove past a few minutes ago. It can be seen from the A23 dual carriageway or the adjacent footpath as you walk away from Gatwick South Terminal. Ben
