Just this minute had an email thanking me for my application but they are now withdrawing ALL external applicants out of the sift due to 'recruitment requirements" Couldn't have put a bigger downer on my day!!

Indeed, i certainly understand what you are getting at, for sure, in respects to the 'sift' and interview i guess it is a competition of sorts. i most certainly have not already got the job :D ... optimism aside for a second, i can see myself fighting fires for a good while yet :roll: haha...

I dont know about anyone else but im in no direct competition whatsoever. The only person im competing with is myself and myself only, being competitive will not make my interview skills any better nor will it get me through my assessments ... only i can do do that and along my journey, hoping...
