looking for some advise took the assesments in Swindon earlier this year unfortunately failed just 1 of them. was told couldn't reapply for six months . the six months is up 4 days after the closing date do you think is would be a no go thanks in advance
I maybe wrong was told by a GWR driver that's lives next door to my mums that was a couple of years ago though. only last week one stalled on Hemerdon and had to be rescued although that may have been more to do with the bad weather
The problem in devon is that two of the climbs are just after major stations Dainton 2 miles past newton abbot at 1 in 36 and then rattery immediately after totnes at 1 in45 so guessing an unchecked run not practical
cheers fingers crossed took test for another TOC not quite six months ago passed all but TEA-occ. Six months will be up in two weeks hoping that will not rule me out but not too confident.
A few years back I went through the channel tunnel in the cab of a freight shuttle and saw the tvm430 signalling first hand . From what I can remember speed changes were preceded by a bleep then display started flashing and you couldn't see anything out of the windscreen in parts .
my currant prescription in right +4.50 sph -1.25 cyl and left +5.50 sph and -1.00 cyl if I understand right that gives me r +3.25 and l +4.50 can someone clarify thanks
thanks for that am I right in thinking then if conductors role unsuccessesfull it wouldn't affect a second chance at driver assessments as ultimately that's where I would like to end up.really annoyed at the failing the tea-occ as reading on here its difficult to get through the paper sift and...
can anyone advise I recently failed the driver assessment with gwr passed all except the tea-occ I know I cannot apply again for six months but does that include conductor or guard roles thanks
