Hi pal, I’m just waiting for a medical date. Found out I passed my interview today. What background checks do they do? Do they go through all of that with you when you go in after your medical?

Yeah I get the impression that goal posts have been moved somewhat since the DMI back in Sept. Just wait and see I guess.

Can I ask where you have got this information from as there are plenty of people on this thread who have been in the pool since last year who are yet to have a medical which leaves the March start somewhat unlikely....

I don’t think anybody for Birmingham has confirmed a medical email today. It’s horrible waiting to find out your fate for this period of time, really tests your nerves :-0

It wouldn’t make any sense for a company to still be recruiting for trainee positions if they didn’t have a need for them. It’s a waste of everyone’s time and money. I think it’s easy to speculate, particularly when we’re all waiting but I really do think if you’re in a pool then it’ll be sorted...

Has anybody else had an email this afternoon stating they’re looking at instructors etc. I’m in the pool waiting for Birmingham. I think it’s just a communication email and would suggest they’re now looking at allocations for those in the pool. I’m hoping it’s not a change in the companies...

I also went for Birmingham. Had my stage 2 on the 9th October and passed everything. Just waiting to hear the outcome after my DMI. The wait is tense to say the least
