    The main limitation on tram frequency is more a case of how much it effects the rest of the traffic on princes street rather than the power supply, for the 6 nations they normally run every 5 minutes which i think is the limit as they aslo have extra buses on and they all have to get along...

    Not really as the tickets you buy last for 6 months for residents and is you are visiting 3 day tickets will get you over that. You can share the tickets you buy with friends and family also.

    Since the train needs a locomotive at each end anyway at Euston couldn't they just have a 90 on either end powering half the trains ets requirements each if the 92s problems haven't been resolved in time?

    One thing worth noting is that for Locals the Ridacards are valid on the tram in the airport fare zone so you can use it for no extra cost if you have one.

    When i was there a few weeks ago the toilets, ticket office and I think boots where still open along with a temporary coffee stand where open, everything else was closed up.
