Here are some photos from yesterday (28/08/17) of 319 217 'Brighton' & 319 435 final move from Bedford Carriage Sidings to Bedford Cauldwell Depot. Next time I'll see them is when they are hooked to the ROG Class 37 :(

Sadly my 700 pulled up on plat. 3 right after the move went through. So I didn't catch the unit numbers at all, but I'm staying for 435s and 217s final move on their own power from the Carriage Sidings to Cauldwell Depot.

Just saw 426&432 whizz pass my Southern 377 near Burgess Hill, gutted that I wasn't at a station to see it :(

They have boards saying the farewell message now

Yep, according to RTT 217 & 435 are running but with an 11 minute delay

Ah damn thats a shame, I was hoping to race ahead of it on an EMT services to Luton or Bedford and catch it again. I guess I'll just have to deal with just seeing it once at Gatwick sadly.

That's a shame the 1980s interior had some of the most comfortable cushion seats :(

Do we know which pair left Bedford? Tried to catch it, but my EMT 222 was put right behind it on the main line, so I've got no chance of seeing it now :(

We're now down two 319s, I have no idea which units they were though. There was supposed to be a storage move at the usual 1000 this morning from Hornsey, but it was cancelled then reschedule for 1500 randomly so I missed it. Also there are two more moves tomorrow and Wednesday from Bedford...
