you say this but then in your next post quote a section from the rule book that contradicts what you've said drivers absolutely can, and should, get involved without being requested to do so by the signaller in the right circumstances

that is how many are rostered. there is no obligation to work them, just need to give sufficient notice

it's not every other Saturday, it's a maximum of 50% of Saturdays so will fall on early and late weeks (and nights depending on depot). you might do 3 Saturdays in a row or just 1 in a 5 week period. all depends on which depot and which link though
