Incident at Chalfont & Latimer (21/06/20)

The signal lever would not move if a train spadded signal JT6, the conditions for the Met train having been shown a proceed aspect would then cease and the circuits not being correct signal JT80 would return to danger. Someone more technical will correct as needed.

Trivia: Most different types of stock used on any one LUL line at the same time

I am sure there was something in an old Underground News that said C stock went to Uxbridge to cover a gap in the service, what we need is the UN editor to be a member. I will look through the archive.

    Hammersmith OZ Auto working

Seems like you have asked a question no knows or are thinking what could it be. Having looked at the layout and putting the thinking cap on the only thing I can think might have been possible is for trains to come from the sheds onto 24 Rd and back onto another road, I could of course be...

    IMR levers

If you look at my post (4) what I meant was that there were 42 V frames with the arrangement of 2 levers, there are a lot more V frames. On the Northern line they are still in situ other than Kennnington which was removed because of the work on passageways. All the Vic line ones have been...

    IMR levers

I seem to remember that it was all to do with relays or associated but don't ask any more as I'm not a tech person. There were at least 42 IMRs like this some having more than 12 levers.

    Disused stations

Been thinking and I am almost sure what you say would have been at Leicester Sq off one of the passages although it was before the 1960s and was the old emergency control room which became the signal control of the Northern line, might be wrong though.

Google street view is very handy and once you have found something from the aerial view you can then check it out on the street view, have a good look and see what else you can find.

    Victoria line at 50

On the Vic line when it opened manual driving was done into/out of all sidings and like someone said to/from the depot with the changeover at the depot entrance as in the depot there was no codes. I can't say what they do now.
