Dunno about that...there's a few of us on here going to the same depot and we've all been waiting a while for a start date. That would suggest that they are short at that particular depot but there is still no date for a course.

Strange. I thought everyone was told within a few hours of the final interview whether they were successful or not...? No course dates as yet. October at earliest apparently.

I had my DMI at the start of March. Passed medical a few weeks ago. Not had a start date yet. You've got a lot of waiting to do...!

Yeah, that's what I thought might have happened. After the last recruitment drive they probably got annoyed at the amount of candidates turning up at the depots. I managed to grab a couple of train drivers for a few minutes and they were more than happy to talk. Theres more than enough info on...

I'm afraid it's you that's talking rubbish - I was specifically asked who I had spoken to at the depot I visited as well as the other stuff you mentioned. And I am an external applicant. You are probably right though that they are getting a bit annoyed/overwhelmed at the amount of applicants...

If you don't hear anything within 8 weeks of the closing date you haven't been successful.

There is roughly 40 Q's but its not really timed as such. It'll take you about 30 mins. Computer tests about an hour in total. MMI after all that if you pass the tests - 20 mins to answer 6 questions and then interview after.

It can take up to the whole 8 weeks before you hear anything. I was 6 weeks after I submitted my application. The number of applications is huge. Be patient.
