Express?? Damn...That will be highly fustrating if I have missed my train ¬_¬
Ahhh right. Am I right in saying that the relief lines are only from Cardiff in the Newport direction?
Firstly next to a couple of signals tonight there was an 'M' illuminated. Does anybody know what this means??
If anybody was wondering where the signals were, their rough positions are circled in the attached image.
Secondly when City line trains diverge from the Vale of Glamorgan line...
As I went past Cardiff Canton today c.15.50 there were some coaches in an Intercity livery. IRRC they were not in the Swallow design, it looked more blue.
When I went past c.21.40 they had been moved
Any ideas why they were there?
Thanks in advance
James
P.s. Wrong forum...can this be...
I would imagine that because the Class 395 have to fit into the UK loading gauge for services beyond HS1. Where as HS1 is built to a larger loading gauge hence the difference between the train and the platform
To clarify. ATW are going to refund me the difference between the undiscounted plusbus ticket that I was sold today, as the guard refused to sell me the railcard discounted version.
Yes that is what I meant,
Spoke to ATW customer services who confirmed that and they are going to send me a letter confirming that Plusbus Day Tickets with railcard discount is valid and the difference between the fares
