Hi all.
Is there a green 67?
My uncle says he saw it with Northern Belle stock through Gillingham (Kent) recently. I can't find one online, and suggested Evening Star, the 66, but he's sure it was a, 67.
Many thanks.

Thank you for that. Wasnt sure if that was still running or if it was green. Will offer that as the identity.

Actually just looked at some pics and think the VSOE would still be Pullmans, so probably not the one.
Could anyone help please?
My uncle's friend said he saw a train passing coastbound through Chatham during the week. Apparently it was a red (EWS?), possibly class 37 hauling six green coaches with small windows, about two foot square. Unfortunately he can't remember what day it was and...
Hello all
I'm in a bit of a pickle over Gillingham station in Kent. I'm building a model based on it and can't find a detail I need.
Does anyone have a photo of the front of the main station building in the 50s or 60s they could share with me, or to answer my question with?
Many thanks...
Went today, spent about three hours there and it was great. Staff couldnt have been more helpful, had King Edward II and steam railcar running. Saw just about everything there. Thoroughly recommended.
Hi guys. Anyone been to Didcot Railway Centre? How long would you give to see all the exhibits, have a run up and down the line and a browse round the gift shop?
Thanks, DJ
Hello all. I'm building a model layout with a section based on Stewart's Lane. I'm presuming there is no turntable there anymore, so am looking to find out how Clan Line (and other engines), after running the Surrey Hills circular, are turned ready for the next trip? Im guessing its on a...
Can anyone who knows or lives in Cornwall help please. Going to Newquay in a couple of weeks with the family. We have three nights in a guest house.
Can anyone recommend places in or near Newquay we could take the kids (girls 9 and 11) in the evening to keep them entertained.
Thanks

So, today I went to Kennington: thought I'd have a go at the loop. Found the right platform and let two trains go, both with Edgware via Charing Cross on the back. Third came in and went for it. Sat in the second carriage, but then the driver came to the window and said train terminates here...
